Project Management Experts

Project Management Solutions As A Service (PMSaaS)

Project Management is the practical art of managing more than one, or a group of projects which are, in some way related to one and other, usually by business case, and with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of the sponsoring organization. Project Management affords business and institutions the opportunity to align project methodologies to ensure maximum benefits are delivered across numerous projects, which share a high-level objective, or are supported by a common business case. The role of the contract administrator is to administer the terms of the selected form of contract for your construction project between you as the employer, and the preferred contractor. We work closely with you at the outset to agree on the most suitable procurement route and contract choice.

This is informed by an assessment of the following:

  • Project costs
  • Sequence, methodology and logistics due to location
  • Third party timescales and permissions
  • Community/environmental management
  • Capability and experience of the design team
  • Maintaining project and cost control

Once the procurement route and form of contract are agreed, we will administer the contract terms. Our responsibilities and obligations will depend on the contract chosen as each contract has its own unique set of demands especially where bespoke forms are prepared by your lawyers. We are experienced in navigating the nuances of contractual clauses and we create clear and structured communication processes and project management processes which seek to maintain good relationships and foster collaboration between the contracting parties.

Whilst each contract will be different due the scale and complexity of construction projects, we remain objective and impartial throughout. The Client Representative is responsible for managing the project with a delegated authority that is clearly defined to act on behalf of the client. We will act as a key point of contact between your leadership/senior management team/steering group and the construction contract administrator or Employer’s Agent, to steer the development towards completion, providing efficient financial and operational planning and controls.

While the project is underway, your project manager will give you periodic updates. This can be done remotely, or face-to-face – whichever you prefer. You’ll also be able to track the progress of your project through our online portal – meaning you can get updates wherever you are. We will guarantee that the work is going ahead as per the plans, be compliant with all local building regulations, and keep the building inspector informed of all completed stages. With us overseeing the work, and the stringent contracts that we will have in place, we will ensure the builders adhere to the budget, which means you will not have budgets spiraling out of control!

We will sign off the project, and then to keep control of the main contractors, we will allow you to withhold the final 5% payment for three months for any snagging works. You will be provided with a completion file, which will contain the following documentation where applicable:
